President Obama on Martha's Vineyard

President Obama and his family arrived on the island this afternoon and, as has been widely reported, are staying at Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark.

This idyllic property was for sale back in 2005 and I had the pleasure of photographing the estate one summer afternoon.

Pictured above is the view from the front porch to the boat house and Tisbury Great Pond.

Hedgerow ~ House and Barn

Hedgerow, located in East Sandwich on beautiful Cape Cod.  This home was built in 1763 and was once a Quaker boys boarding school and later the home and studio of American artist Dodge MacKnight.  The house, barn and property have been lovingly restored by Patty Keuhn and Dave Fitzpatrick.
